James: Theology of Trial pt. 1
Series: James
Read James 1:1-18.
Who was the book of James written to? What significance does this have in the Old Testament?
How do you define a trial? Are you going through any trials right now?
What should we do with our trials?
What would happen if you stopped asking, “why?” and instead asked, “Lord, what now?” “Lord, where do we go from here?”
What do trials produce? Read v. 9-11.
Take some time to discuss the questions asked during the sermon. Which questions do you relate to? How could your trials produce something greater in the future?
